Sam’s distinguished 45-year technology career included positions of responsibility at IBM and Shearson/American Express, as well as many years as an executive at Merrill Lynch. He initially focused on very large-scale data center and network infrastructure with subsequent concentration on software engineering. He developed, maintained, and managed high performance mission critical Financial Services Systems. As a Managing Director, Sam was responsible for Merrill Lynch’s mutual fund processing operations in Jacksonville, FL. He is universally acknowledged as an expert in that segment of the business.
Sam received his undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Rutgers and an
MBA in Information Systems from NYU. He expanded his education by attending the
Securities Industry Institute at the Wharton business school and Executive programs at Georgia Tech and Harvard University.
Sam is now retired and enjoying life with his wife of many years in southwest Florida.
