WILLIAM J. SANTANGELO was a Managing Director at Oaktree Capital Management for 10 years in charge of Operations. Previously to that, he was Executive Vice President at Countrywide Capital Markets. His responsibilities included trading administration and new products. Mr. Santangelo was a Managing Director and Treasurer at Chase Securities Inc. His responsibilities included overseeing the Government Dealer Department’s Finance Desk. Mr. Santangelo’s group provided financing for Chase Securities, Chase Manhattan Bank, and their customers. He was also responsible for balance sheet management. Mr. Santangelo spent eight years heading the Repurchase Desk of Manufacturer Hanover Trust’s Investment Banking Group and five years at William Pollock & Co. A member of The Bond Market Association’s Board of Directors, Mr. Santangelo served as the Association’s 1998 Treasurer and 1997 Funding Division Chair. He was awarded a B.A. degree from Brooklyn College.
